In Paraguay they mostly speak Spanish and Guarani, Guarani is the most commonly spoken language but some people also speak Spanish. The people there sometimes add little bits of Spanish into their Guarani. Spanish greetings such as Mucho gusto (It's nice to meet you) are used often, ¿Mba'eichapa? (m-buy-ay-SHA-pah meaning "How are you") is also used. Shaking hands is almost always done when greeting.
