Paraguay has a sub-tropical climate. Paraguay has hot summers and warm winters. There is a rainy season from October to April. The Chaco area is tropical and very warm. Because of the hot and rainy summers, winter is the best time to visit. If you go in winter, you should bring some cooler whether gear such as jackets and sweaters. In the summer, bring shorts and warm weather shirts, you also may need a brimmed hat, sunglasses, and a raincoat or other rain gear.
